All used engine swaps utilizing a JDM ECU or your existing ECU will require a tune.
Additionally; shipping and labor charges are not covered under the warranty. Buyer must accept the responsibility and coverage upon placing a claim.
Claims or chargebacks stating the item is not as described will not be accepted. All buyers are presented with actual item pictures prior to shipping out.
If a settlement is in progress and the client attempts a chargeback, know that all previous offers are subject to deductions in dealing with the chargeback case.

Important Guidelines: Engine(s) / Transmission(s):
Failure to comply to the following maintenance requirements will void the warranty.
Engine Requirements
- Replace engine oil to manufacturer's suggested levels.
- Replace oil filter.
- Replace gaskets (valve cover, oil pan & rear main seal)
- Inspect and replace (if needed) new timing belt/chain as well as inspect the timing components.
- Replace thermostat and water pump
- Flush cooling system and refill with antifreeze to appropriate level.
- Install new spark plugs, new belts and hoses, vaccum lines, etc.
- Change the oil after the first 600 miles and at recommended service intervals thereafter
- Service the vehicle at proper intervals as per manufacturer's guidelines
- Quick check on small parts and accessories such as connections, fittings, lines and hoses as well as replacing them if necessary prior to installation.
- Install the engine with OEM equipment for stock use during the warranty period (any aftermarket or performance equipment is to be installed after the warranty period at the buyer's discretion and liability).
- Manually turn the engine over then perform a compression test prior to installation.
- Inspect and flush all replaced components for contaminants prior to installing on the engine.
- Perform a leakdown test after allowing the engine to have run for some time and have proper heat circulated prior.
Transmission Requirements
- Check the flexplate for cracks or excessive wear on the starter teeth.
- Replace oil pan gasket, front and axle seals and replace filter (if applicable).
- Flush & inspect transmission cooling lines. Follow manufacturer's recommendations.
- Properly align torque converter (Automatic Transmission Only)
- Finish installation of the transmission. When finished, add transmission fluid to manufacturer's specifications. Start the engine and add more TF immediately. Additional fluid can now be added until the transmission reads FULL on the dipstick.
- Reset control module codes.
- Adjust throttle position sensor cable.
Due to the number of false warranty claims we have been forced to evaluate each claim critically based on the purchase and strict revision of dates. For example: a claim for a broken rod bearing within the first week of receiving the engine will more likely receive proper validation as opposed to the last week of the warranty. Please note that many claims are due to the neglect of the purchased item or possible modification such a remapping or faulty tuning of an engine itself. These types of modification although difficult to determine on our end will not be warranted. If a staff member, for any reason, has an inclination to assume this has been done to an engine, your warranty claim will be refused.
Know what you are buying. Buyer must determine the fitment if it is not stated. Any purchase used towards racing and rally applications will not be warrantied. Some parts may be performance oriented or upgrades to stock components but we do not encourage the use of our stock to be used for these applications or to be subject to aggressive driving conditions. If a part or product is being purchased for a vehicle outside of the intended application; it will be considered a custom swap and will waive liability of JDM Racing Motors Inc in relation to the product.
This warranty is subject to modifications and changes. JDM Racing Motors reserves the right to enforce these modifications without prior notice.
